Singa Nglaras Monthly Klenengan will resume this Month.
Same rules applies. All are welcomed.

"Klenengan is Javanese gamelan music, played in a soft and contemplative style, used for listening entertainment rather than for the accompaniment of a dramatic theatrical event."

There will be music, lots of coffee , food and snacks. All are welcomed.

*Potluck Party. Please bring finger food and lots of coffee!

Singa Nglaras was in Solo, Indonesia for a week and it was a successful trip. we managed to learn and immerse ourselves with the richness of culture in Solo. we had many gamelan practices and we also watch various gamelan performance.



Special thanks to Dr. Jan Mrazek and family for organizing the trips and kudos to us for making it a successful trip. And a shout to Pak Supardi and Pak Danis for being our patient gamelan teacher and special thanks to Silk Air for supporting our group in this great trip.

As many of you might know, the Mayor of the City of Solo has invited Singa Nglaras to come back in October this year as we have been honoured to be participating in the Solo Music Festival.
