Singa Nglaras Klenengan for July in On!

Singa Nglaras Monthly Klenengan is happening for the month of July.

Same rules applies.
All are welcomed.

Faculty of Arts and Social Science AS2,
Gamelan Room, (Opposite Coffee Club Express)

"Klenengan is Javanese gamelan music, played in a soft and contemplative style, used for listening entertainment rather than for the accompaniment of a dramatic theatrical event."

There will be music, lots of coffee , food and snacks. All are welcomed.
*Potluck Party. Please bring finger food and lots of coffee!

If you are interested to play with us, you are also welcomed to play during the Klenengan.

Ladrang Gunungsari by Singa Nglaras and NAFA Gamelan

'Gunungsari' is a Javanese male solo dance with mask in putra halus stle from the Panji stories. This dance is about Gunungsari who is looking for his beloved one, but he cannot find her. In the dance, the mask is brought to life by the dancer.
